I picked up a BT a few months ago and its next on my project list. The guy I got it from stored it in a sea container for a few years.. the dampness, heat, cold, etc took its toll on the wood. I think it can be sanded and filled in with bondo or wood filler. I didn't know if there were any other steps to take to assure its not going to crack up again. I plan on leaving it in the house for a while before I get started, so hopefully the wood will stabilize. Its not warped or water logged, just cracks through the top layer.
