SYMPTOM: Game booted into junk. Amp popped so the sound circuitry was likely okay.
FIX: Several EPROMS had lost their stickers. This isn't normally bad for them, but it was the first thing to check. Using MAWS I was able to reconstruct what code went to each EPROM. Romident was also a big help, it identified three EPROMS as not found so I knew those were bad. A few quick erasures and burns got me a working game that I had never played before. I knew it was the game before Double Dragon, pretty good first take on a beat-em-up. I am impressed by the amount of speech. Tough game so far, but I've almost finished level 2!
