Removing trackball bearing dust caps -- standard procedure?
Hi,
I am rebuilding some trackballs with kits from Arcadeshop and the new bearings have dust caps on both sides. The old bearings I am replacing all had the caps removed on one side. Is it standard procedure to do this to all new bearings? The new bearings aren't totally sealed, and the lubricant I am using will soak in through the dust caps, but its kind of annoying.
