The instruction area was removed and sprayed with black spraypaint. What's the best way to remove the spraypaint, especially since it overlaps the screened part of the bezel that needs to stay?
Good luck. I tried doing exactly the same thing on a Stargate plastic bezel and smeared the surrounding colors, even though I thought I was being careful.
Kinda OT, but my Tapper bezel isn't flaking, but has some lifting bubbles, as seen from front. I want to say the Tapper bezel has mirror inks, so I don't see that getting reproduced?
On glass you car very carefully use a sharp razor blade scrape the paint away. The trick is to not scratch the glass in the process. With patience you should be able to remove the unwanted painted area without hard to the original art.
Hope this isn't a dumb question, but is a blade a blade? Meaning, are all razors just about the same quality? I have a 100 pack from Harbor Freight that I've used to remove cpo's and want to make sure it's not an issue using "cheap" blades.
The only time a blade is not a blade is if you are doing trimming tape, window tint, etc on glass. Stainless Steel blades are the way to go for that as they are harder to scratch the glass with those. But for scraping, a blade is a blade
