Hi,

I just bought a nice Final Fight but the previous owner added 8 extra buttons so he could play the fighting games on the multi cart

The plan going forward is to have 4 buttons per player, maybe higher up the control panel as they are currently really low and give you wrist ache - button 1 is almost off the bottom

What's the best way to cover up the holes?

TIA DM

make a new control panel :p Otherwise you could get plugs but they look kind of tacky, I would say best bet is to find something to actually fill them with like bondo does for cars and then put a layer of laminate down over it and then whatever art or overlay you have over that. That way all you see are your buttons and the overlay/art which cover both the laminate and the plugged holes.

thanks...that kinda makes sense

I think the way forward is to make a new panel because the layout is kinda screwed; player 2 is too far over to the right and needs moving

I'm assuming a bit of steel / aluminum bent to shape would do

If you don't want to go through the trouble of making a new one or plugging yours, you should be able to find a dynamo cut corner cp pretty easily. They made universal panels so you could have different button combinations like this:
attachment.php

Do a search on here for "dynamo control panel" and someone should have a few that they are selling. Make sure you get the right one for your cab- looks like an HS-2 (19 inch monitor).

perfect! thank you....that looks like exactly the one I have, I just didn't know the name of it :)

and yes, mine is a 19"....well it's got a 19" k7000 installed

....now to fix my power issue LOL
