All the T molding came off just fine with the exception of this part that just won't come out! Any tips or ideas of how to get this part out.

Thanks & Merry Christmas!

What I normally do in a situation like that is get a hefty flat screwdriver, put it in the t-molding slot just above the piece that won't come out, twist it in the slot to spread it open and take pressure off the t-molding's teeth, and pull on the t-molding with some pliers.

I had that happen to one of my games, use needle nose pliers and a flat head screw driver take your time and it'll all clean up. good luck

Thanks guys! Heatgun did the trick!

Now....any tips on putting new T molding in...

Rubber mallet and place a piece of cardboard between mallet and t-mold. Absorbs even more so you don't bend or damage the new t-mold. You really don't need to hit that hard.

Most t-mold doesn't need pounded in.

If the new T-molding doesn't stay in, go grab your wife's crafty hot glue gun. Easy fix, and not permanent.

Remember to cut little notches or "v's" out for the corners and bends of the cab, or else you'll be fighting that new t-molding going in. The notches would go on the spine that goes into the slot. I usually start making the notches before any bend, and then keep making them until it would be passed the bend. So one bend could have 3 notches out, some could have 8, just depends.

There's more info available on this site if you need it.

Wish I had known this when I installed new T-molding on my two cabs ( Didn't know about Klov then). I tried to use the rubber mallett on the bends and it worked for the most part but there is still some sticking up in a few areas, and I had to use the hot glue gun method as well to get it to stay. They look so much better though with new, non arcade abused T-molding. Thanks for the info, will use this method in the future when/if I get any new games.
