Removing old rotten t-molding?

I'm bumping this old thread just to say only go with the router that takeman suggested below to remove rotted stuck in tmolding. I just did a burgertime with a router and it took less than 5 minutes from start to finish to do both sides. I was trying to pick it out before with no luck.

For the bad ones, I use my router with a tmolding slot cutter. Cuts the spine right out adn the carbide cuts the tiny staples towards the bottom. A little messy but works great.

ive had luck using a dremal and a multi purpose wheel, just make sure u wear a face shield or dont get ur face in the line of fire or hot plastic flung at your face will be very unpleasant
