Can anyone post some pictures on how to remove a monitor from a Mario Bros. cabinet? I am not certain how to do it, and don't want to break anything while poking around.

Thank you!

Be sure to discharge it, before messing with it.
Or you could seriously injure yourself or worse!

Do some google searches, you will find everything you need.

Unplug all the connectors from the back side, video, audio, ground and power. Then go around the front, remove the control panel, then the plexi bezel. Now remove the 4 gold (or black) screws and washers from the front side that hold the monitor to the cross braces/brackets. Now remove the paper bezel if it's still there and set it aside. Next, shimmy the monitor toward you until you can get you fingers behind the mounting flanges. Grip, slightly lift and pull forward, sliding where nec, lifting where nec until you pull the monitor completely out of the front of the cab and have cleared all four sides. Now set it down on a table or the floor.

Getting monitors in and out of Nintendo cabinets is super easy. Much nicer than many others (Gorf comes to mind.). Just be sure that you remove the power cable from all the ties before trying to lift the monitor out - best to coil it up and stick it in the chassis somewhere lest it catch on the monitor shelf as you're pulling the monitor out.

Also, word of warning. That power cable looks just like a regular cord that would plug into a wall socket... DON'T! The Sanyo monitor (like most arcade monitors) requires an isolation transformer. Moreover, the Sanyo runs on 100v, not 120v. So only use the it with the Nintendo isolation transformer. Plugging it directly into the wall with destroy lots of parts on the chassis.
