How the heck do you take off those black grills in front of the speakers? It looks like those are the last parts thats stopping me from taking out the monitor finally. I've removed the top and bottom screws but it looks like theres a middle and I can't get to it due to the speakers. I'm almost to the point of going Office Space on this thing.

I've had to do the do the same on an Outrun 2 (same cabinet). It is a tremendous pain in the a**. You have to remove the whole steel outer frame shown in your second pic. If memory serves you also have to remove the speaker cases to get the entire monitor out. It's not easy but once you get all of the screws out of the frame and remove it, you will get the tube out.

That's what I was not really wanting to do. But to get it looking good again guess it's time to try and get those stupid speaker boxes out. :p

No real way around it, had the same setup on my Indy 500 that I had to mess with. PITA, but it makes life a lot easier with all of that out of the way.

Double check step by step as you put that stuff back together, the last time I did it, I was half way done, realized I forgot something, had to take it all back of again.

I did the same with Initial D, forgot a piece and had to pull the whole damn thing out again. Major PITA...
