Removed old T-molding on Burgertime

And it was rather a pain. With the little staples shot into the molding from the side (when game was made), the glue and 29 years of exposure to sun, it took longer to remove than expected as it came of in pieces with the molding still in the channel at times. No more yellow molding now. Nice and orange. The old molding was very brittle. I have never had molding come off like this old stuff did. That is all. :)
 
had the same problem with a pacman.. I thought the staples were a home owners solution. I guess it was a factory thing..

I got a dull pos slot cutter and I ground it out on mine
 
yeah I have one that is a bitch like this. It is so hard it brittle it will slice you open, but as soon as you try to pull it it flakes off.

I have several hours of work ahead of me still on mine pac cab

I had the same on my Pac-Man as well as several other games I have done. The worst one, however, was my Mom's Galaxian. Every time I pried on the molding, it broke off. It left long pieces of the barb in the molding groove. Oh, man was it ever a PITA to get rid of. Looks very much better now, though :)
