Hi,
I have the remote cancel and sound volume unit (not the IR), the wired one as it's a pain to reach back there.

I have it wired no problem but right now it's dangeling on the top, ... not too fancy.
Where would you put it ?

Also I was wondering about upgrading to a "cheap" IR or RF remote.
do you recommend any ?

Thanks

Normally the wired remote volume/cancel control is mounted behind the bar when the jukebox is on location in a business. This is so only employees have access to the volume not customers. In a home setting many people mount it on the wall near the jukebox and up high enough so the jukebox doesn't get pushed into it and so little kids can't play with it.

Rowe manufactures a proprietary infrared wireless remote volume/cancel control for the cd jukes. You cannot use just any old home type of control. It MUST be the Rowe one and the part number for it is listed in your manual set. This is an accessory item which can be purchased from the parts department of any Rowe jukebox distributor. It's not cheap though.
