Remote electric switches for cabs

Yes, you can get an X10 IR receiver which would allow your Harmony remote to control all of your X10 devices. I'm planning to get one for my basement home theater, since the light switch is on the other side of the room. I'll install an X10 light switch and add a custom button to the "Watch TV" activity on the Harmony to dim or turn the lights on/off from the couch.

Shit yeah, now it's definitely on. Are the X10's the same ones you linked earlier?

I got a bunch of these at Christmas last year:

I have them plugged in 1 socket per game so I can turn on single games. I am still looking for channels E & G.

Yup, I currently use the 'AM466' appliance outlets for my games, the 'TM751' transceiver and the 'HR12A' remote. The IR receiver is called the 'IR543' and the decora-style light switch is the 'WS12A'.

Ok, so I need an AM466 for each game. I have the remote since I'd use my Harmony.

In this case I would not need the TM751, right? I'd need the IR equivalent which is the IR543. Is that right?

Do you have an ebay link to the IR543? That guy's webstore is worse than Bob's, I can't find anything.

Just to confirm, I need one of these for each game, yeah?

You could do 1 for 1, but these are rated for 15 amps each. I have mine grouped in 2-3 machines per module as I only wanted 8 modules to make the remote cool. I printed the game marquee's on the remote as the button labels. It's pretty flexible based on what you want.

Can anyone confirm this?

This was what I did with the X-10 remote.
Not as sleek as the Harmony, but I like it!

It's a good thing we don't live next door, I use the "K" house code too!
It would suck if you were setting a high score on Crystal Castles when I hit button K-6 at my house to turn off my arcade lights. :D

I have A through G of these myself and love them. THey work great, have never had an issue. And I like having the key chain on them for each game's keys.
