Remote control switches for games

Those are pretty sweet and cheap. Hmm. Currently I use X10 to power up the game room in sections and its all on one remote that way.

I bought something similar at Menard's. It also only supported 10 amps and it didn't work since I had about that much plugged into the 15 amp power strip I was trying to replace. Not very useful if you have more than 3 games on an outlet.

I wonder how many frequencies you can set each to? Also note the 10A max, so you're not going to want to set up more than 5 or 6 games per unit (depending on the game).

Received three sets of these today and so far I've put two sets(as in two "1" channels and two "2" channels) in service and boy are they great. No cross talk between units so they are definitely on different frequencies.

I have four games on two units, three on another unit, and just two on the fourth unit. The kiddos think they are cool as shi... umm... I mean they think they are cool! ;)

Thanks again Klumpy! :beerchug:

I got a couple of "3 packs with 3 seperate channels" for $10/pack at Lowe's after Christmas (meant for Xmas lights). Posted about it here but I don't think many people noticed it. LOVE them!!

Yeah, I got a 3-pack from Harbor Freight called "SmartSwitch" that works really good. Was only $19 I think? Remotes are the only way to go in a home arcade! ;)
