Remember this auction for the Star Wars cab that was desecrated with a N64 modded to it.

It only went up to $1.04 with 2 bids. Then today he edits his auction and says that it's been canceled, yet you can still bid on it.....

When I emailed him and asked him why in all that is holy, did he desecrate a star wars cabinet like that, he told me that he sold one just like it not too long ago and was looking to get $1500 out of this.

Obviously he's not getting it.

However, I could be wrong, but isn't there a feature that lets you pull your auction. Because as of now you can still bid on it.......

He also says he has a reserve, and it's not a reserve auction. That is against eBay rules, and will get you a temp ban from eBay. Someone should click the *report* button.

Interesting, either someone else has reported him already or he is a closet KLOV reader(that won't fess up to creating that atrocity) and has removed his auction. My guess someone reported him. I emailed and told him(4 days ago) that he has to have a Reserve auction, if he wanted to use a reserve price. But he just laughed it off and said the fact that he wrote "This has a Reserve price" in the description was good enough. What an idiot.

Hopefully this discourages him enough to take that N64 parts out and just sell the cabinet or restore it or put the originals back in and sell it. Doubt it though.

nope, he was reported because eBay removed the auction. You can tell because its completely gone, if he had done it the auction page would still be there, it would just be listed under the completed (ended) auctions. anytime you get the auction ended page eBay has removed it

FWIW I emailed him and asked if he still had the original parts. He said he did so I suggested that a dead but complete Star Wars is going to sell for more then a Star Wars cab with a console in it. He gave me the same line about one selling for $1500.00 not too long ago.

At least it wasn't a JAKKS Pacific hacked into it...

Now that's funny. ;-)

I forgot about the other glorious possibilities that one could use to desecrate a Star Wars cabinet.

Perhaps an Etch-a-Scetch in place of the monitor will be next. And he will sell it for double. CMPOL...
