related, I promise: Best Buy card limit?

Because of this thread I'm now buying TWO Tron pins from Best Buy. And I'm doing it on Halloween Night too, with a copy of Harry Potter under one arm and a witch's hat on my head.

Back on point, I am interested in the credit limit question the op had.

Not reaaly sure why any of this matters. Its an asshat's discussion because nobody was talking about INVESTING in them in the first place.

They dont even own their credit cards. My "store card" is through HSBC.

Aren't the pins sold at best buy a stripped down version of the real deal? I have heard conflicting stories about this.

No. They sell the "home" version of the Iron Man pin, which is stripped down from the standard commercial unit. The Tron pin they sell is the same as the Pro version you buy anywhere else, and I'm guessing the other pins are the same way as well.

Yup:

Dude...Read back 3 posts and click the link and LOOK at the pics!

I get what he is asking. Hell, every add I've seen for a Transformers LE pin uses the "stock" picture, so I could see a company using a standard Tron Pro pic for whatever version they were sell, especially if it is a big company that doesn't exactly specialize in coin op machines (ie Best Buy)

WELL DUDE....

you've never heard of a company putting up a "mock up picture" to represent the game?

Unless someone has actually owned one purchased from Best Buy or seen it, I wouldn't base your answer off a fricking picture Best Buy places on it's website!

And if that is the case so be it......

The ads and the pics are very clear about the differences of the Iron Man being a Home model and the rest being Pro models.

I understand that. But you can't always trust what you read on the internet.

I was a little worried that what showed up wasn't a standard Pro model, but that wasn't the case. Hind sight, I should've asked the questions he is asking, because if I wasn't a pro I would be SOL and very pissed.

The overall moral of this story is no, the pins BB sells aren't stripped versions. Except the as stated Iron Man Home version.

That's good to know. Thank you AUSyTyin.

BB wont have the LE's for at least 90 days, so you can figure that the popular titles will be gone before they are ever allowed to sell them.

No, you could have just returned it as it wouldn't have matched the pics and ad on their website.
