I am looking at buying a rejuvenator that is on ebay. I messaged the guy to see if he would do a buy it now. He replied he does not know what it is worth and for me to make him a offer and he will see if the price is fair. He has a B K 466 he also has a 470. What are they worth and what are the differences? My dad is looking for something to get me for Christmas and I thought this could be a idea.

Skip the 466 and get the 470. $50 if it works and has a CR-23 adapter.

Not sure about working. I was told when turned on it lights up and all the needles move, so I would think it works. Not sure what adapters come with it he has a couple. If it does not come with a CR-23 where is a good place to get one. I looked on ebay and they seem to skip right over that one.

I, too, suggest the 470 over the 466.

I and a few others on here can build you a CR23 adaptor or I can step you through building one for yourself.

I think my dad bought the 470. After I get it, it is a Christmas gift, I'll see what all comes with it. If my dad was the one who did the buy in now he payed $50 plus $15 for shipping and it had 2 or 3 adapters with it.

That should be a good start. While the CR23 is the most commonly used adaptor in the arcade world there are a few others that you should consider getting as well:

CR31 - "skinny" neck tubes such as many 19" K7000 and some of the 13" tubes
CR6 - virtually every black and white. In fact, I have never come across a black and white that used a different adaptor.
CR24 - WG 6100 and a few Hantarex monitors
CR28 - 13" G07 variants
CR30 - Matsushitsa tubes
CR25 - Nintendo 15" monitors
CR71 - Sony Trinitron (Time Traveler, Holloseum)

I may be forgetting some but these are the ones I can remember using over the years and they are ranked based off of number of times I have used each.

There is an adapter for calibrating it too. I think it is CR-3 but you would want to double check that. I highly recommend calibrating it. Mine was working when I got it but I was setting the heater voltage too low due to it not being calibrated correctly. Like I said it worked but after it was calibrated correctly, it really works!

The calibration Torin is referring to is called a 'field calibration' in the manual. It sets the needle to read the actual voltage output from the machine. This is very important because if the voltage is too low the rejuvenator will not be as effective as it should be and if it is too high it could damage the tube.
