Hi Everyone...

I run the IPSND (Internet Pinball Serial Number Database www.ipsnd.net) which tracks serial numbers for pins and game specific traits to go along with those serial numbers.

Anyway, since Williams video games came off the same production line, I also have pre-1984 Williams video games in the database too (they share the same serial number sequence as the pins).

You can get a listing of each video game with this handy link..

http://www.ipsnd.net/search.aspx?term=%(video)&type=0

One thing that I track is cabinet style with the serial number. So as the data gets added, we can start to see the clusters of rarer cabinet styles and get an idea of the numbers of those serial numbers produced. Also, since the serials are analysed by 'cluster' as we get more data, the production numbers get pretty accurate after only collecting like 10% of the serial numbers.

So, if you have a Williams game, take a pic and upload it under your game. It is a pretty cool thing once the data is there.

thanks
jess

You don't need to use your real name or even register as a member on the site in order to do submissions either.

On the Geolocation, you can just put in the town name and it will take the geographic center which is probably better than putting in your real address for the location.

Please don't upload photos of guns. ;-)
