What seems like a decent asking price for a nice clean refurbished AD Cabaret in today's market?

- Trans. Assy. dismantled painted and reassembled with all new parts
- Rebuilt monitor
- Rebuilt AR
- Cabinet stripped and wood grain side art applied
- Coin Door repainted
- New T-Molding
- New Leg Levelers and plates

Are the numbers matching? My eyes were immmediatly drawn to the features list:

- Trans. Assy. dismantled painted and reassembled with all new parts
- Rebuilt monitor
- ...

But my brain saw it as:
- Transmission Assembly dismantled painted and reassembled with all new parts
- Rebuilt motor
- ...

Then my brain started trying to figure out what the hell is a "Rebuilt AR"?
Which part of the car is that? Axel rod? AC Radiator? Alternator/Regulator? Yeah. That one. It fits somehow.
This all happened in the space of 5 seconds. Wow. :ROFLMAO:

Sorry...TGIF!!!

As to price range...
VAG gives a range of $775-1100 for the AD cabaret. Start there.

What about the CP? You didn't mention it and the overlays are often roached on these.
Refurbished can mean a lot of different things, and the quality of work matters.
Even a "simple" repainted coin door can make you squee with joy or it can look like ass.
Or if the new wood grain looks like the Noice Moppet...clearly not helpful.

But I would say sight unseen....$1000. With wiggle room either way.

A refurbished game would lean high if it's done right.
But you may get dinged for "not original".

Yes, AR meant Audio Regulator. 😎 I agree, TGIF!

CP is completely done as well with new buttons. New vinyl on the front of the machine.

- New light ballast, starter and cardboard monitor bezel. Top to bottom with love!

1000 made. Not super common these days. Depends where your located.

In that condition, I wouldn't let one go for less than a grand, and I think $1200 would be fair.
