ok a guy bought a machine off me and asked if i could fix his laser ball machine.

1st off there is corrosion on almost all switches (cleaning them slowly but surely as thats quite grueling)

dead diodes on 4 switches (no biggie)

it scores for no reason (even after adjusting the switches) if u barely tap the machine it scores...looks like on the left side driver or just switches??? did it more when i got it i unhooked some switches so they stopped scoring

no drop target stickers so i put some on. the coils are to weak to lift them with stickers (wow!!!) was fine before that but i never checked the voltage...it seems low in comparison to other coils on the machine
(replace them or is that another problem???)

i have never seen corroded lamp posts looks like it was underwater ;(
cleaned them with 200 grit sand paper on the outside and used some cleaning lamp stick i bought.. (long process but again no biggie)

the driver was burnt in some spots from the ps being overdriven by high fuse values ;(
cleaned traces and reran caps and things...

any help on my few questions from ayone is appreciated.thanks

Sorry, been crazy busy still with the move, but lets see what I can do here to give a hand.

First thing I'd do with the drop targets is to take the assemblies apart and clean them. If nothing else, check that the plungers move freely in the coils. Are they easy or hard to lift by hand, and if pushing up on the reset bar? 3 to 4 ohms is within the range you should be seeing inside the coils. Any chance that the extra thickness of the stickers could cause them to bind against something? What voltage are you seeing at the coils?
