I have a fresh batch of refurbed AR-II-04's, -02's, and -01's available. These have been meticulously repaired, refurbed, and tested by me.
The AR-II-02 is the 'universal AR', and can be used in any game that uses any AR-II type (not Asteroids or AD, which use AR-I's).
An -02 is required for the following games:
- Star Wars
- Centipede
- Cloak and Dagger
- Liberator
- Return of the Jedi
- Warlords
The following games require an -04, but can also use a -02:
- Millipede
- Tempest
- Quantum
- Red Baron
- Battlezone
- Black Widow
- Gravitar
- Space Duel
- Major Havoc
The following games require an AR-II-01, but can also use an -04 or -02:
- Food Fight
- Pole Position (two AR's required)
- Xevious
- Crystal Castles
The list above is not exhaustive. If you are unsure which type your game needs, PM me.
Details:
- Fully washed and dried (so clean you can eat off of them)
- Original factory caps (tested good for ESR and capacitance, don't need to be replaced).
- New 2N3055 bottlecap transistor (main part that does the heavy lifting)
- New sealed 5V adjustment pot installed (won't get dirt in it)
- New sense resistors (R29 and R30)
- Bench tested to 5 amps using a test load
- Audio amps tested good
- Burn-in tested in my personal cab
I am increasing my warranty on these to TWO YEARS (though they will last much longer if properly cared for). If you have any issues, just pay to ship it back, and I will repair and return ship for free.
These are nice original refurbed AR's, ready for many more years of service. (Always good to have a spare!)
