I have a red tent with one broken monitor and before I dive into all the tech notes on this forum to repair I see a few messages saying DK jr cocktail and Popeye Cocktails used these crt's as well..but when I pinged a seller of DK jr he said no way the monitor is 18" inside the cocktail..is the info that these cocktails use the 1801 incorrect or is it just that one "could" find a cocktail that does like you could find a red donkey Kong….

Thx

Dedicated dk jr and popeye cabinets should have an 18" as far as I am aware. These are blacktop tables. The older white tops (found used from space fever to donkey kong) used a 14".

DK Jr cocktails shipped with an 18" monitor, but it wasn't the Sharp XM-1801N. I think it was something like a Sanyo 18-Z2AB, basically the 18" version of the 20EZ family. Red Tent cabinets shipped with the Sharp XM-1801N, which is the 18" version of the XM-2001N, which came in upright PC-10 cabinets and some Punch-Out!! cabinets as well (I think). I'm running an XM-1801N in my DK Jr cocktail cabinet -- it fits perfectly and works great, a drop-in replacement for the original monitor.

Charlie is correct. The DK Jr & Popeye 18" monitors were Sanyo 18-Z2AB. I have put one in a Red Tent with one Sharp XM-1801. You cannot fit two Sanyo 18-Z2AB's due to size restrictions with how the frame/chassis is designed.
