It was a good move to add the Video and Monitor forums, and an even better move to get rid of requiring registration just to view the boards. (Requiring registration just to view boards is a 100% turnoff for most people. I know I sure despise it.)

So while all of that looks good, you still seem to have a problem with nobody reading and responding to posts asking for help. If you want your forums to be anywhere as useful and important as RGP or KLoV, that's gonna have to change. And if your tech simply doesn't have the time to provide free support over the Internet (which is very understandable, if that's the case), then perhaps trying to pursue such a set of forums isn't the best idea to begin with.

Now we have 2 techs and 9 AM every day they are to check the forum and again at 4pm so that should cover it. Getting them on weekends may be hard. But I agree it is something we have to work on.

Seems like a very smart idea as a retailer, not only does it make you seem knowledgable about your products if your techs actually help people with their problems but gives people a reason to frequent your site seeing more items.

I like the fact that you no longer have to login to read the forum.

I don't necessarily agree with all of the advice given but that's bound to happen from time to time.

Our new tech is pretty good this old dude has worked on everything and is good at the EM stuff as well. He also can explain a lot better and give better detail than Ricky can. Any way for what it is worth try him and let me knwo what you think
