I'm looking into converting my Radikal Bikers jamma into a regular Jamma. I guess Radikal Bikers didn't use a standard jamma.

I'm trying to avoid cutting wires so I want your opinion, what is the best way to convert this to a standard jamma?

Is it easy to just remove the wires from the existing jamma and insert them into new jamma harness?

Any suggestions?

Are you converting the cabinet to another game all together?

You can always just buy a new JAMMA harness and put it in the cabinet and leave the old harness alone.

Yes converting it to Mortal Kombat 2

I figured coin door, marquee light etc is already wired to the current jamma harness, would it be wise to put a new jamma harness and leave the old one? Would just make for a rats nest. Plus I never see that cabinet ever going back to Radikal Bikers

If you are sure you will never return it to original then I would pull the old harness. Sell it and any other parts like pcb, marquee and whatever. Put that money on a new jamma harness and the other stuff to complete the project.

Marquee light shouldn't be connected to the jamma harness, unless someone spliced into the 5 or 12 VDC to connect a LED backlight. I agree with Obit, I'd just put a new jamma harness in it and wire it up correctly for your MK2.
