I have four z-backs and they're all painted black either on the sides or front or both and they all look like faded crap when the paint is stripped.

I'm looking for an original red z-back in GOOD CONDITION, fully working set up for jamma, no electrical problems, etc. Does not need to include a game, doesn't even really need a monitor at the end of the day.

Why not just repaint the red with a ultra smooth foam roller and you'll get a very lite texture when it dries. Its pretty close to the original red siding on there. You could probably just match it to the Neo Geo red and get away with re-rolling all of your red Zbacks.

I have a couple of red zbacks that are missing monitors and sometimes a back panel for $50 each. They are operator pulls so they have seen some better days.

It's difficult to do a full paint job where I'm at, and I feel like I should be able to find a not-too-molested z-back for a price less than or equal to my time would be worth stripping and painting a cabinet, only for it to be a non-original paint job vs. the original vinyl.

Bump...I bought one at auction on saturday and thought I was all set, but when I picked it up today I was able to get a better look and it has much, much more expansion/moisture exposure than I'd noticed before, with the bottom sides starting to crack off as we moved it. Looking closer expansion was apparent practically everywhere, so I'm still on the hunt, as I really want to put together a nice CE.

to bad your so far away,i have one for cheap in pretty good shape working all the way.

bump...I could use a nice SF2: CE bezel as well, as one that I have has a sticker over the bottom middle and the other was shipped to me rolled(?!?!?) so is unusable.
