So one of the pins on the edge connector broke off. Usually not a big deal but the edge connector is solid plastic that was molded around the pin. What the best (easiest) fix for this?
The pin can actually be pulled out and you can slide a new one in.
I can take some pictures tonight if you would like.
Just have to be careful. You can pull a pin out of another connector or you can pull a pin out of that connector if it isnt being used.
Thanks that would be awesome. But i should clarify it wasn't the actual pin. The wire broke off on the outside of the connector. But any help is appreciated
Replace the single pin. If your edge connector was garbage I would agree with alpha-tron, however VS connectors rarely go bad, usually a negative wire breaks off.
