one side of my red tent monitor works fine but the other side takes about 3 minutes to get a picture and then the colors are off also here a hissing noise almost like a vacum leak coming from the monitor does any one have any ideas your help is appreciated thanks

i switch monitor side and the other monitor works fine with the same pcb

i dont see any sparks this time the picture came on rite away but i did notice a funny smell like ammonia

Pull the chassis out, flip it over.. I'd bet the horizontal coil has weak or prolly no solder left on it.. While your there, cap it..

I've got a couple rebuilt red tent chassis. As my search for a tube is never gonna happen.

thanks i will try that tonight how much for the rebuilt chasis in case i need it

Not sure.. Pm me if you do need it.

Ok i didnt see any solder problems but i figured ill take out the chasis anyways wich is a task when i went to take the tranformer cover off i seen the tip of the transformer were the screw hold down is was broke off will that cause any problems ? i put silicon on the part that was broke monitor seems to fire up quickly the hissing noise is gone but the colors are still messed up
