Hello
Is there a way to put Mario Bro's on a Red Tent,
If there is How, and what do I need
Thanks

Are you asking about Super mario bros?

The nintendo playchoice arcade unit plays the console nintendo versions of the games.

The red tent uses the nintendo unisystem board which runs the arcade versions of the nintendo games. The games are burned on eprom chips. You need the correct color palette security ppu chip, the rp2ao3 cpu ic and the dummy ic rp2a04 for super mario bros if you dont have a jumper (sewrch forums) or another cpu on the other cpu slot side of the board.

Check out johnsarcade.com he covers all of the basics and what you are asking about, with videos.

He's asking about mario bros, not super mario bros.

If you are willing to customize and there is enough room in a Red Tent, you could put regular Nintendo boards in (making custom adapters) and put in a Mario Brothers for one side, and a DK for the other, etc. The question is if there is the room for the boards.

the monitors should be fine, I do believe the Red Tent's use inverted video as did the full uprights before it.

Someone more familiar with Red Tents will have to indicate how feasible the idea is however.
