Red Sea Crossing - Possibly the rarest Atari 2600 Cart found to date up for auction

Just imagine how much he actually paid for the two cartridges at the garage sale.

edit: it appears that he paid $0.50 for the Red Sea Crossing.

wow..... its already hit 5k now!! very cool mike, thanks for posting the link.

ive never heard of or seen this 2600 game in all my years of collecting.

wonder how high it will go???

Thats cool that he's having good luck. I'd like to see gamegavel take off. I have the worst luck with auctions myself, I think twice I've sold things at or above what I wanted to. (out of hudreds of items) Doesn't work the other way around for me either, maybe only twice gotten a good/great deal on somthing. Then it seems to me theres a higher chance of non payment with no feedback or negative feedback.

Page needs some help, looks like 1996 warmed over. Oh look somebody bought a twin famicom with game for $9.99, maybe a good place to go if I wanted to resell stuff.

Sold for over 10K.

I'm confused as to what you actually do with it.

The game in all likelihood sucks, so do you play it once and put it in a display case? People looking at you collection aren't going to be familiar with it so I'm not sure what kind of presentation value it has.

I mean, it's not like a Superman #1 (or whatever) where you can put it in a frame and people recognize it.

There's an easy way to decide if a 2600 cart is worth the cost... works in any situation: garage sales, online auctions, etc. I will share this coveted secret.

1. Look at cart- does it say *** on it?
2. If yes, buy it.
If no, do not buy it.

(where "***" = River Raid, Pitfall, or Warlords)

:)
