How do you guys get such clean edges on the front speaker panel / the black inside lip area? How do you go about doing it? I've tried using frog tape, and no matter how i do it, some of the paint bleeds through onto the black paint / when I remove the tape, it doesnt leave a sharp edge.. I'd love some close up pictures / info on how to do this..

That was definitely a trial and error...but what finally worked for me was I had it primed....then I spraypainted the inside of the speaker slots...then I sanded off the black spraypaint...masked off the speaker slots as close as I could get...primed again...removed tape by pushing screwdriver threw the back of the slots...then wet sanded the rough gr ooves from the last layer of primer off around the grooves...then quickly sprayed thru the slots with water to remove the wet primer..dryed immediately .then just rolled on the paint...there is probably an easier way...but that's what I figured out...

Looks awesome, nice job! If you can, post some BEFORE pics, as this makes all of us appreciate it even more. People like to see what kind of a pile of crap you started with before you ended up with that masterpiece....

i have a resto album on my profile page with a bunch of pics...besides...the before pics look decieving. first time i posted the before pics on here...i got bashed cause everyone thought i sanded down a perfect cab!
