Red Deer Auction Results (sept 26)

Sweet, I missed the original posting with pictures! I knew about the auction but wasn't able to arrange proper transport on such short notice.

I don't think I saw a link in the thread for the auction ad, but here it is anyways:

I happened to meet a random guy at work I was helping with a purchase, who told me about the auction.

Any chance someone scored some of those guerilla war pcbs? :p

simple fact that pins regularily go for higher amounts than vids?

Of course pins go for more on average. But police force normally would go at auction for $500-$600 and paperboy and punch out for nearly as much. Just surprised by such a huge disparity between an average pin and two classic vids.

Check out that wacky Asteroids to Space Harrier conversion in the final pic... and what was that Omega Race cabinet converted into?

Kyle

Yeah, but it's apparent from the replies in this thread that no other classic vid collectors new about this thing. And there's a difference between classic vids and pins: classic unconverted vids are only worth money to us here in this microscopic little klov community whereas pins are worth money to just about anybody who's got money to burn...

I picked up about a good third of the working pcb's and a ton of boxes of the "non-working" ones (of which I just got Splatterhouse working by swapping in a $12 chip - woot!) so yeah, I got a tested Working Guerrilla War pcb for you. PM me an offer and I'll send one your way next week...
