I caved and got it as well because of the $25 gift card at TRU. We'll see if I care once I start playing I did see the free roam multiplayer, which I think is kinda cool.

Everyone at work got it for 360, though, so I won't be able to join my PS3 friends - sorry.

Its a great fucking game. I played all night after work. I did alot of the free roam mutliplayer than got involved with the single player which is very nice. Ill be doing more single player tonight i think to get into the storyline a bit.

I work at gamestop, and i see and play alot of games. this game is phenomenal. the voice acting, free roaming, story, gameplay. The fact you can just ride around on your horses with some buddys and just do whatever you want is awesome.

got 9.75 from everywhere, definately deserved that extra .25 for a 10.

Been playing this game a lot lately. Preordered it based on the trailers and was kinda worried because I didn't like GTA4. But Red Dead is a GREAT GAME !!!!!! Single player, multiplayer, storyline, sound, controls, side missions, everything about it is great. EVEN THE GLITCHES!!!!

im diggin the treasure hunts too? great idea with the treasure hunt maps.

This game has a pretty crazy story actually. Red Dead Revolver started out as a Capcom game designed by Japanese guys that went down to Angel Studios to make the game for them. My friend worked there while I was at Capcom. There's something about japanese guys and cowboys...

The story is that they Japanese guys loved San Diego so much that they wanted to keep the game in production as long as possible. Periodically they'd change the game design just to throw back the schedule.

After about 4-5 years Capcom just ended up canceling the game and Angel Studios sold themselves to Rockstar/Take2. And eventually they released the game after such a long production time.

There's a reason why they put Redemption in the name of the title. After being jerked around for so long… they wanted to make the best darned revolver spaghetti western ever made…. GUN and ATVI LOL….

Ive been on the evil side for awhile, you get a badass black horse if your badass enough. Been doing alot of multi free roam and I need to get back into the single player.

Just thought I'd bump this up as I finished the single player campaign the other day... but the game's so much fun I'm still playing it trying to get 100% on the campaign (and I rarely go back to a game once getting the credits).

I'm stuck at 93% complete right now. It won't give me credit for taking in a bandito bounty alive, even though I've done it 2 or 3 times now.

i think im @ about 90% right now. still having trouble with that damn horseshoe trophy as well as that damn dice game. doh! still need the "kill all animals" trophy too.

I'm going for 100% completion of the single player mission (from the stats menu), not 100% of the achievements -- which I know I won't get since I don't play multiiplayer much.

The killing all the animals wasn't too bad. The only one I had to go out of my way to kill was the Seagull.
