What are Red Baron uprights selling for nowadays? It doesn't seem like they come up for sale often. I have one that's working but needs some attention and I'm wanting to sell it. I just don't know what to ask for it.

Thanks in advance!

I am interested in this as well. I just restored one with new side art, paint, and PCB board repairs from Mike, (Road.runner). Very fun game that you don't see too often,

I had never even seen one in person until I bought this one.

Price is all over the place....depending on location and condition. Non-working beat-up games are as little as $450 with working nice cabs $800-$1200. Working boards are $250-$300. The cockpit games to some are worth less due to size, and to some more due to their rarity. I have a minty HUO since 1983 cockpit that I won't part with in this price range.

Thanks
Brian

I'd agree with the $1000-1200 number for a working one, as well as 300-400 for a working or refurbed boardset.

Keep in mind also that you can convert it to a BZ pretty easily, with a CP swap, swapping the aux board, and a ROM swap on the main board (or by swapping Braze kits, which is even easier). Not that it's worth converting permanently, but rather to somewhat easily have both games with one cab.

I'm jealous of the cockpit. Always wanted to see one of those. There was someone here who was working on a custom BZ cockpit a while ago (converting a RB), but I forget who it was.

OOhh, now that's an idea for a project. A custom cockpit Battlezone with the sticks on each side of the player like with T-Mek . Of course I would never convert a Red Baron cockpit, but a reproduction cabinet with custom sideart, now that would be something to see and play for sure. You could even have the speakers mounted on the sides of the player in the rear. I can get upwards around the 400K point range but my leg starts cramping from standing so long so a sit down would definitely be pretty darn cool.

I've actually been thinking about this as well. I have a RB cockpit to trace and a CNC in the garage, so the thought has crossed my mind.
