Initial pickup story:
I found the game on KLOV's own for sale section and contacted the local seller. After some back and forth about the price, we agree on a fair price for both of us (with input from my friends) and I head out with the help of a friend and a truck. It was advertised as 100% dead. From the pictures I could tell:
* One side of RB side art was gone and was down to the Battlezone layer
* The coin mechs were incomplete.
* The speaker had been replaced
* The monitor door had been ripped out.
* The game was complete
* One of the paper bezel guns was missing.
When I got it home, things took a turn for the better:
* The coin mech parts were in the bottom of the cab, along with two extra 50c inserts.
* The missing paper gun was in the bottom of the cab
* The seller presented me with a mountain of paperwork: three full sheets of schematics, a ripped up back door sheet, and the original 'cabaret' manual.
* $1.25 in 5c pieces in the coin box. He had a 5c slot nearby, so at least I know where they came from.
I finished my Night Driver project and I was finally able to turn my attention to the game. I ordered and today, all day, installed:
*New 6x9 speaker
*ARII cap kit. ARII sense mod. Beefed up all harness connection points. Replaced a falling apart resistor R5.
*Adjusted 5V pot, was reading a bit low.
*New power cord.
*New big blue.
*Beefed up the PCBs inter-board connector points on both boards.
*Capped the deflection and HV cage for the Electrohome G05-802 monitor. Beefed up all harness connector pins.
*Tightened the step.
Powered it up for the first time and found I had forgotten to plug in the anode cup. Fixed that and was greeted by a working, and probably very happy, game

If this is the last game for my collection, it was fitting and a wonderful conclusion.
Any reproduction side art for Red Baron? Also wondering where I can find a new rubber mat.
