Ok here's a pic of the nicer cab I have. My other cab has water damage at the bottom, and the wood at the front bottom where the step goes is all missing. The cab is falling apart. I've managed to get it put back together so it's fairly stable now. But I'm considering building a brand new birch plywood cab for this.
So I'm looking to get some input.
As you know RB has the add on front panel as used in front viewing BZ cabs.
The first thing I'm thinking is to incorporate that piece into the new sides so make it one solid side.
Next You can see there is a white border around the RB graphics. I assume Atari thought it easier to just cover what they needed on the BZ graphics instead of making a graphic that went to the edges. Since I'll be painting this cab, and stenciling it myself I thought of making the complete side red then painting the RB graphics. So no more white border.
Next I'm thinking of Dropping the nearly $200 for a new Happ Analog joystick, and modifying the handle to fit the original RB joystick handles.
Just wondering if I should do all that, or keep it more original.
Thanks
