This...is my last deal. Of course, that's what I said the last three deals.

I had a posting up on Craigs saying that I was looking for this huge list of pins, then I bought Stargate. Forgot to take it down. Went to Atlanta. I get this email saying that he has a STTNG in nice condition he's willing to sell for a reasonable price. I send him back and email asking a few cursory questions and explaining I'm out of town.

He says that someone had come out and tried to get it for less than he was asking, that he wanted around 1300-1400 for it. Wait, WHAT?? I immediately tell him I'm interested, set up a time, give him my name and phone number, and that I can work around his schedule to come out and take a look at it. We agreed on today, I went out and took a look, and my god man...I'm about speechless..

I had typed out a contract basically assuring him that I won't come back and harass him with any issues that arise after I take it are my problem not his, that I will pick it up in three weeks and pay the rest of the money, and he won't try and sell it from out from under me. If for some reason I flake on the deal he keeps $200 for his trouble.

But yes.. THIS IS WHAT A $1400 STTNG LOOKS LIKE. HELL. F'ING.. YEAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!

Nice, congratz.

The first thing to do is to put your Romulan Warbird back over the green flasher where it belongs. Very nice score!

Credit dot is probably due to the drain switch not working 100%. The guy said the right cannon doesnt home sometimes but I didnt see it happen. I really doubt the fixes have been done to them.

HELL OF A DEAL. Would make a Ferengi proud! Congrats!

Mine does a credit dot if you play like two or three games without hitting the borg lock. Which is an entirely possible feat for me. I'll hit eventually hit it and the dot will disappear.

I wonder if my upper coil is weak....

Congratulations. You got a good deal for fair price. You didn't rip him off and he didn't shine you either. STTNG is a very complex game and lots of minor things could need repair. I paid $1500 for a rough one that looked similar, if not a little worse. I tore mine part and fixed all sorts of things including adding laser cannons etc. I probably put another 1500 in mine and it didn't hurt because the price was good. It's my favorite pin. Feel free to drop a note if I can help.

Thanks man. :)

I have a feeling it's probably something minor at the moment. All three of the flippers are weak and I had trouble shooting some of the targets so I wouldn't be surprised if there was stuff that I did not touch on the playfield.

This deal is "BEYOND BELIEF!!!". :)

Fantastic game, one that both my wife and I played pretty regularly in college (my wife used to play it while I was obsessed with Mortal Kombat). We also watched the STTNG series so it made the game even more incredible.

I don't think this one will ever leave my collection, I have a pretty nice one also and once you get it running 100% it's hard to let go. This is one of the smoothest playing pins out there IMO. The incredible effort that Ritchie put into this one will most likely never be duplicated again, i.e. bringing in the entire STTNG crew for voice call out sessions to add to the game.

Congrats on your pickup!

Nice Find, a credit dot can be caused by something as simple as dead batteries or batteries removed and having to reset the date and time when the game is turned on, it is not always a bad thing.

what a great deal!! why can't I find deals like this!!!

Well, I didnt really fid this one per se, it just fell unto my lap. I didnt even say I was lookin for this game in my cl wanted post but I did have a 800-1400 price range specified and thats what he wanted for it...so I got damn lucky. :)

I will be contacting the proper authorities in your area, as this can only be classified as outright theft. :)

Seriously, that is a deal unlike any other. Congratulations.
