I have a TnF CP that was converted to a Rush and Attack CP so 4 of the holes were welded off, 2 on the player select and then 1 each on the run buttons. I want to recut those holes out without damaging the CP. What would be the best method, any advice?

Get a hole-punch kit from Harbor Freight, Home Depot, or your preferred tool shop. You want one that has a 1-1/8" punch.

You drill a small hole in the center of where you want the button hole, put your punch-out pieces on opposite sides of the control panel connected through that hole, then tighten with a wrench and it punches out a perfect hole right where you want it - with smooth edges and everything. Ken recommends spraying down the punch with WD-40 first, and that helps it go through even easier.

Haven't done it myself yet, as I haven't had the extra cash to buy a kit, but others have extolled its virtues here many times in the past...

Thanks man your information is always appreciated. I forgot one thing, holes were welded so on other side you can see the bond from the weld and it's avg weld thickness. Will this that u speak of cut through that?

ive been drilling them out with a hole saw. a little cutting oil and a pilot hole, bingo.
drilling a bunch of holes takes a little while but with the cutting oil, i only needed one bit to do it. still need to duburr the edges but they really came out nice.
interested in the hole punch route, will go check one out.

Here's some photo's showing how the knockout punches work. you can buy a set from Harbor Freight for about $16, btw...

Insert the thread shaft of the knockout punch in the hole:

Put the brace over the shaft:

Your two pieces are now lined up for the cut:

Put your ratchet on the nut on the center shaft, and start tightening:

The punch pushes right thru and leave a nice smooth and clean cut:
