I'm working on a Twin Galaxies record and plan on using a webcam to record directly to a wmv file for easy submission on a cd/DVD. The problem is that the Logitech software has anti flicker settings for 50hz and 60hz but no 15hz for arcade monitors. There's some bad flicker that seems to lead to some laggy looking video. Is there a way to manually adjust this or any recording software I can download that includes a 15hz setting?

Did a little search on your problem. It seems some logictech webcamsoftware has issues depends on which operating system your using. Basically, Yes, your software loads but the camera doesn't respond to the changes in the software. You might want to go to logictech to ask them.

Depending on how long your record attempt is going to take, you might want to consider something other than a webcam, unless the quality is pretty high. I used a flip HD camera and transfered the recording to DVD via ConvertXtoDVD. Of course, if your recrod attempt is going to take more than an hour that's not an option.

Yeah, it's more than an hour so I was hoping to find a nice webcam option since it can record for extended periods without risk of running out of memory. I've been working to adjust the resolution and the angle of the camera and I think I have something that will work. At a resolution of 800x600 and with the camera filming from an angle more to the side, it minimizes the flicker and it becomes more of just a rolling thin light line that isn't nearly as distracting as the huge black bar that would roll through the frame when I was trying it before.
