Recommendations?: a UV EPROM eraser and a newer programmer?
A friend of mine surprised me with a good deal on an older EPROM programmer that will do chips up until 27c512s (64KB in computer speak). I'm really happy! This programmer covers me basically from Centipede (1980) to Golden Axe (1989). It is a BP Systems EP-1.
Now I should buy a really cheap programmer that can do 27c100 (128KB) and upward to 27c320's (4MB) for some of my post 1989 or so boards. For example, I noticed a lot of 27c100 (128KB) and 27c020 (256KB) on my CPS1 boards.
I also need a UV EPROM eraser, but I've heard these are cheap at around $20 shipped.
Anyone have recommendations? A cheap USB pocket programmer for the new stuff? E-bay or Amazon links?
