I was asked the other night if I wanted to sell one of my arcade games to a lady who has a day care in her home. I talked my way out if by recommending one of those smaller games that you can get at sears. Good idea??

Kinda depends on the game. Any 'shooting' or 'killing' games aren't PC enough for the daycares around here. But I would think a PacMan or a Popeye or a Burgertime or something like that would be ok.

I think you're right about recommending a 'all in one' unit though. Those kids will destroy anything they get within a few months so $20 a pop those are fairly cheap.

I think most daycare aged kids would be interested in it for about 5 minutes, no matter what it is.

Anyone who thinks an arcade machine is suitable for a home day care - or any other day care - is clueless. Tell them there's a difference between a Donkey Kong and the Leap Frog Learning Center they see advertised on TV.

I have sold several Multis to a daycare facility. The kids are BRUTAL on those games. Luckily all the machines are still going strong, but they do take a beating. I go in there periodically to re-tighten or replace buttons and make sure all the machines are working.

My kids love my cabinet with the 400+ in 1 gamebox inside. They pretty much play everyday if I let them, they have been playing it since about the time they turned 3 years old, over a year now. They love playing 2 players on games, such as X-Men, Final Fight, King of the Monsters 2, Simpsons, etc...

I'd figure it wouldn't go over so well since it's not "Call of Duty" or one of the other TPS games.
