Ok, being basically a newbie just asking for others opinion of the game and if possible a rough idea what this would be worth?

Now being as this would be my first, are there things one should be looking for? This unit has been in storage for several years according to the owner and I will assume it does not work and will require the rubbers to be replaced (are kits available?).

Thanks for any insite.

I personally have not seen the unit yet, but here are the pictures from the seller...

I'd buy that in a second, personally. I'm just finishing up a Recel Criterium 75 (do a search here and you'll see some photos). I guess the thing I would look for/thing that caught me off guard is the mylar. Mine came from Brooklyn sight-unseen and was so bubbled, cracked, and warped I had to remove it all. I documented it here. Hair dryer made it a breeze.

How much is it?

Current asking price is $125 - I figure that is a decent price, but like I said, a newbie, so not 100% sure. ;)

Cheers,

I like the price. It'll be an experience and if it fails, you'll have a nice piece of art. That's sort of how I saw it and I paid $250.

Ugh. That's the worst! I've gotten to the point where I'll drop everything and just go after deals. Unfortunately, this leads you to buyer's regret 2 or 3 times out 5. If he sold it, there will be more. I feel like I've seen a number of Recels for sale in Canada.

...yea, the part that sucks is I tried calling several times (left message) and would have picked it up yesterday, but no answer - sent an email and he replied this morning someone was coming today for it. :(

Oh well - I suppose there will be another...
