Rebuilt Wells Gardner 19V2000 blows F102 after several days on. Replace it & it works

So I have a rebuilt Wells Gardner 19V2000 that after playing great for several days will blow F102. I pop in a new 1 amp fuse and it plays great for several more days. I recapped the monitor including C100 and C101 as well as replaced the four output transistors. I also re-flowed all the header pins. Any ideas?

How do the fuse clips for F102 look? You may want to replace them.

The manual calls out a 1 amp slo-blo for F102, but there's a note on the schematics that early-production monitors used a 1.5 amp.

I went through an extended hair-pulling session with a 15V2000 last summer. It would work "forever" outside the cabinet, but would blow F102 within an hour when installed in the cabinet (Asteroids Deluxe mini). After replacing an insane number of parts without success, I gave up and installed a 1.5 amp fuse. Since then, it's worked fine.

For the full thread on it, go to the vectorlist archives, and search for "Got the V2000 HV blues"

Well, I ended up putting a 1.5amp fuse in and it has been running solid for several weeks now. Thanks for the tip!
