Ok - I know that is not a real big deal, but hey...

Looking forward to capping the ARII and installing replacement PCB when it arrives!

You are quite wrong! Fixing the ARII boards are a really big deal. There are several posts about that board. Don't forget anything that deals with supplying the boards with power is necessary and they will not work without power.

Also, when you get your first board working, there is a certain felling that can not be described.

You are absolutely right! I was not clear and actually referring to the difficulty (vs. recapping a monitor board - at least from what I have read about it). I felt like the traces were pretty wide and there was a good bit of room for error on the ARII. I did it tonight and got the game working. Maybe I will tackle a monitor chassis over the weekend.

Thanks - you are absolutely right about the feeling when Dig Dug powered up for the first time! Motivation to keep working!

Looks good man. New big blue, fuse holder, and connectors? I am usually too lazy to do that unless its not working :)

Way to go man! I like working on these things, especially when I know the benefit of the end result. I'm in the midst of resocketing my Tempest boards entirely. Each one I do jumps a hurdle and I know I'll end up with a great board for years to come.

Yep - did the BobRoberts ARII resto kit as well as the PowerSupply kit. I cleaned all of the wiring with simple green...wish I could have done more to polish the metal "brick structure", but I was afraid of messing the fuse stickers up...figured they were worth more still there - anyone have a source for those?
