I am considering selling my entire collection of console stuff, I don't have the time to break it up and individually sell each piece but would either sell as a whole or by the system collections. What would be a reasonable price for everything listed, I definatly don't want to give it away and am not in need of money to pay bills of anything but want to try to find someone to pick it all up for a fair price...

I am selling off my entire gaming collection trying to shift to other things right now and don't do anything with this stuff. Here are some of the highlights...

Nintendo NES:

120 boxed games
about 300 loose games
5 system boxes
1 boxed top loader
20 NES systems
tons of controllers, joysticks, zappers
Nintendo powers, guides, videos,
Manuals, extra boxes, newsletters
about 100 extra "doubles"

Sega Dreamcast

225 games, about 215 are complete and in good shape
2 boxed systems
boxed controllers, VMU's, cases, RF switches, keyboard, mouse
Extra controllers, gun, VMU's,
Kiosk model Dreamcast
Demo discs
Neon sign

Nintendo 64

One boxed system
4 or 5 extra systems complete one is jungle green other is clear smoke
150 games half are complete
Nintendo 64 kiosk was taken apart to clean all parts has surface rust on base will include TV not original.
V doctor 64 (like the DD64) in box looks brand new
Various extra guides and boxes

Other highlights include:

3DO with 23 games
Atari 2600 with about 25 games
Atari 5200 boxed with about 5 games
Atari Jaguar boxed with 15 games
Atari Lynx with 28 games
32X boxed with 9 games
Sega CDX with 26 Sega CD games
Sega Genesis model 2 boxed, have model one and three as well with 105 games most boxed
Boxed Sega Master system 3D set with 5 games
Sega Saturn with 39 games
Super Nintendo boxed with about 25 games
Neo Geo arcade machine with 5 games

Tons of accessories, extra stuff as well, got to check it out.

Here you go. Good Luck with selling your stuff.

I would definitely do it by system collections. Do you have a list of what the 120 boxed nes games are by chance? (Or any of the games from the other systems) It would be very helpful in making offers.

I'd definitely agree with Gutsman - and I hate to say it, 8bit, if you don't break all of that shit down either you're not going to sell it, or you're going to take a bath on it. You'll get re-sellers and "flipppers" sending you lowball offers that would probably put you through the roof. I don't know where Jethro got his figures from, they're definitely not accurate.

Selling the entire collection off at once means that you clear a lot of space at one time and it saves you a lot of time and trouble getting it all together for the buyer. With that being said, you won't get top dollar for the lot. That is bcause most of the people who are into collecting games already have a collection started and most of them won't need 20 NES consoles. You'll have to sell to a reseller/flipper who can sort through everything and get the collectors the items they want. I buy collections from people getting out of gaming simply because I can get a lot of stuff for a good price. I would say (without any details of what you actually have) that I would give someone in your situation $4000 for everything and hope there is some good stuff n the lot.

You would get a better price on the lot if there was a detailed list of what you have and the codition of the items. I know you may not have the time for that and that is why I gave the estimate above. The person who buys it will have to go through everything and clean it, test it, and organize everything before he/she can start reselling it.

This is just my take on it.

$500 for 200+ dreamcast games? Jethrokiller you crazy!

$500 seems like a lot until you do the math. That's only $2.50 a game. If you could resell them for $5.00, that would be $1000.00

I would really hate to sell all the Dreamcast games I've collected for $2.50 a game. Most of them I bought brand new at $50.00 or so a game, back in the day.

EDIT...

I went back and reread the original post. There is a lot more stuff there than just "200 games"

225 games, about 215 are complete and in good shape
2 boxed systems
boxed controllers, VMU's, cases, RF switches, keyboard, mouse
Extra controllers, gun, VMU's,
Kiosk model Dreamcast
Demo discs
Neon sign

In my opinion its worth a lot more than $500. But you would need to sell it all individually.

Just as resonable as the original post, he might have nothing but commons that arn't worth more then $1 each. Think about it, nobody including you could give an accurate figure by reading the first post. If he's not going to bother to give any detail whatsoever why would anyone else bother to put any thought into it? Like saying 'I have 12 arcade games, I want to sell them all together, can someone give me a price check'.

I would try to sell it off as different lots. Make a lot of several Dreamcast games, a lot which includes a system with some games, etc. Try to mix in sought after boxed games with commons, so as not to get stuck with games that won't sell on their own.

Realistically, I don't see any one gamer buying all this stuff at once, unless you had a really rare item that's hard to find even by itself.
