Fun, I always wanted to build a mini Galaga. I have 4 iPacs all set up with iMame. I figure if I am going to make one, why not make 4. :D

Anyway this is pretty cool:

I don't get what the fuss is all about. Not only has this been posted about several times here, but it has also been posted about on BYOAC. Dozens of people on BYOAC have built bartops, so what is it about this one? Is it that it's smaller than a typical bartop? That only serves to make it more difficult to play IMO. If it is not small enough to be truly portable (i.e., pocket-sized), and it is going to be taking up space on a counter anyway, why not make it big enough to use comfortably, like a more typical size bartop?

I understand where you are coming from, but for some of us there is something about miniaturizing things. I have always want a tiny hippo the size of a quarter. I know I will never have that, but boy that would be fun.

I absolutely love the Japanese Showa Era Diorama with a working 1.5 inch color TV!

Yes it could have been smaller, but that is about as small as you are going to get that MVS using real hardware.

The Galagas I am going to make won't be using real hardware, but iMame on a iPac. They are really more for decoration than really playing, but I will do my best to make them as playable as possible.

What I would really love to do is stuff Galaga in this Hallmark Ornament:

That would be awesome! I wonder why when they made this ornament they changed the marquee and kickplate graphics?

Anyway, I like tiny things...
