Arcade Cabinet - Joust - $400 (South Austin)

For sale is a Joust Acrade Cabinet that is in nice condition. Joystick panel is included. The monitor and electronics are not included. It is ready to be rebuilt. Asking $400.

So, no monitor or boards, and he's asking what a normally working machine would typically sell for? Sheesh...

Actually, now that you mention it, that coin door only has one slot. Is this a European Joust? I know some of the European models of certain games only had on coin slot due to the different currency....

Hard to tell with those pics. Most likely just an addition to the US game....extra parts?
 
Hmm. I might send him a note telling him $400 would be okay if the game was complete and working. if he wants it gone, I'll show up with $25 and a truck...
 
Still doesn't beat the Bubbles cabinet for $700. I think that one was Austin as well. As I recall it was minus monitor, control panel, coin doors, boards, power brick, marquee, bezel and back door. I emailed to the poster and told him that I thought it was a typo and that I might be willing to go $70 depending on the condition. He emailed back 10 minutes later and told me not to bother, the buyer was on the way with $700 cash.
