Is there something I am missing? Got my 1st game from them and been doing business there since. I think Obama is a good guy and doing some good things so maybe he can think I am him. The power would be great

No, your not missing anything important anyways. Just ignore them. It would make sense that a giant retailer like Dale would have quite a few customers that are local to his shop. It certainly isn't a stretch that one of them would find their way here. Welcome to KLOV! Maybe posting some pics of your games in your arcade will help shut the peanut gallery up.

Why do they hate him? I have hung out there a lot and never had any problems. He is a good guy who helps me out and I have friends that buy from him with no problems. Funny thing is last time I was there he was covered in this blackness halfway in a Pacman and he stops what he is doing and plays a hours worth of pinball with me. I lost 14.00 to him. I have never seen a guy who loves playing more than working but I guess I would be the same way if I had his job. The worst thing I can say about him is now hold on to your hats because it is very bad. He needs to cut his hair. Dude looks like a kickback from the 60's.

I do not know what I did to them if anything I think it is just I make my living selling games and they are at retail. I have guys here try to tell me my overhead is too high and I do not know how to run a business which I find funny. We have sold close to 600 grand so far this year and our season is coming and I run a real estate business and I run a household that has 8 kids living in it, I must be doing something wrong. But really I do not know and will never understand the treatment some of these guy give out. It is only a few of them but they do ruin it for everyone IMO. Sorry if my crap has affected you and no my hair stays.

I do not know what Dale has done to you guys but he is cool in my book. He is not what you would expect. Picture this a long hair, very dirty, 40ish guy who works on arcades while blasted G&R one day and the next time he is blasting 70's disco music. He reminds me of a guy I saw living under a bridge near a park here. Guy will stop what ever he is doing and play games with you. He does not like to take turns, first time I was there he was showing me a Tales pin and I had to ask him to let me play because he would not give up the machine. He got carried away. I have gone back and read a lot of the post on him and that does not seem like the guy I have meet. He has a true love for these games and you can tell it when you are around there. i do not think he is that good of a business man because I think he gives away more shit that he gets paid for, if I need a small part he just says catch me next time he does not really worry about the small stuff I quess. From what I have read these people need to meet him and then hate him. My shift is starting and have to go the streets are not safe without me. I hate Saturday nights with my job nonstop shit and it is raining again. Should be a interesting night, Anyway that is my 2 cents.

Dale, if you honestly think the people on here dislike you because you are a "retailer" then you should hire someone to read your posts and explain why people would find you offensive.

No this guy is a cop here I think but he comes in a couple times a month. Always needing something like a button or switch. I sold him his 1st game when we were on the Blvd. I think it was a Double Dragon. He is a good guy so take it easy on him this will be a good forum for him and he can learn a lot from you guys. And you are right I used to have a thin skin and would let it all out in some of my post but I do not do than anymore. I try to make my post at least helpful. I just hate it when I get flamed for something I did not do and my company gets ran thru the shit. I have everything vested in this and it is a lot so I can get touchy at times about it. I was wrong for some of the things I said to jadegamer and have told him I was sorry. If he still is mad there is nothing I can do. I do love these games and I want to make it easy for everyone I meet to get into it. I do not mind helping you guys out anyway I can not that I am a great guy but yes it does help my business in the long run. A lot of people say I am in this just for the money well there are easier ways of making money. I had a very good carpet cleaning business here since 93 and it did very well and that is where I made my money. This is a hard enough business as it is and I try not to make it harder.I have several 100 thousand dollars wrapped up into this business and one day it may pay off, One day.

I will agree, I was going to quote some of the things you had said to members here and noticed they were quite a while ago.
Not being an ass here....... just trying to be helpful, but here are a few suggestions.
1. Don't get into name calling with people, you end up looking like the bad guy even if you are not.
2. Quit bragging about how many games you got, you may be proud of them but think for a second.... when someone gets a tempest they saved a couple of months for and wants to show it off, the last thing they want is to have you in the thread telling them you have 16 of them in your warehouse.
3. Don't try to sell stuff in the general section, and yes..posting a picture of the cool new neo geo you got just so everyone can see it oh and BTW "it just happens to be on ebay, why don't you look at it there?", is trying to sell.
4. Do not offer to "make a deal" with someone when you know they are looking for a price you are not willing to take. For example, if I say I want a generic jamma cab with no board and no idea if the monitor is working, you have been on this board long enough to know $75 to $100 is more than enough unless it is something special. If you would be up front and tell people "sorry but I can put a board in that and get $800" then no one would care, instead you offer a "deal" then everyone gets upset when you try to get more than is expected.
I bet if you stop these things, a rlevin hate thread on here would be as rare as a reasonably priced game at your shop.

Friz let me know if you want to sell oversea's and I will help you with the shipping and paperwork. You have to be careful because if not done right it could get stuck in customs. Some countries will not let you ship wood pallets, and never mark it as a gift or a lower price than you sold it for can be trouble. I can set everything up for you if you want to ship oversea's. Should be able to get it to him door to port for about 600.00
