Reactor - cocktail version ?

Never even heard of such a thing. Is there a cocktail option in Reactor's game settings or pcb switches?

So.. has anyone seen, or own, a cocktail version of Reactor ? Did such a thing exist ?

A quick review of the Reactor schematics would show that the trackball/spinner interface only supports 2 axes, or one trackball. There isn't enough decode built into the A1J2 interface to allow for muxing of multiple trackballs inputs. even if a non-standard interface board were used.

I've owned, and only seen, upright models. Come to think of it, I don't remember any Gottlieb cocktail arcade machines...

Modding the board to support it is trivial, 1 cut & 1 jumper which could have easily been done as a factory mod. The game supports it as does the actual TB interface which can support 2 trackballs.

The question is... was the cocktail even seen in the wild or was it just an option that Gottlieb never put into production
