Reactor Attract Music

This is one I had never heard of or played back in the day. I have to say, though, that the attract music is pretty sweet. Also, I'm gonna try this one out on mame.

MAME isn't going to give you the great bass tones that large speaker in the original cabinet did, though. ;)

I'd imagine it won't be the same. It's all I got, though. I doubt there's a dedicated one anywhere near me and there's not way I can afford to buy one.

I played reactor at CAX last year and it just didn't seem that fun. What am I missing?

How was the sound? I maybe remember seeing one of these in the wild when I was a kid and, if that was in fact Reactor, the audio was impressive.

Honestly, I don't remember hearing much sound. Probably because of all the other noise there. But the game play just seemed...I don't know...funless.

can't wait to play mine, its currently sanded and i've started repainting.

If you don't understand the mechanics of the game, then yes, the game seems boring and not much fun to play. I thought that as well until I saw someone who knew how to really play the game. Now I'm hooked.

Reactor is now one of my top wants. The Attract mode music is also awesome for the Arcade feel.

Someone was there who was familiar with it and showing me how to play it. Who was that? I know Jow was there. Was it Bill? I don't remember. I'll have to give it another go I guess.
