Re-wiring Ninetendo VS harness. UPDATED

Hey all I am in the process of re-wiring a Nintendo vs up. I am now hooking up the power supply, but ran into an issue (this is my first full on wiring) On the schematics it says white to +24V but there is no +24V stenciled on the newer type switcher. I have already done the Grounds and +5V and +15V now only two wires left gray and white, the schematic only calls for the White to be hooked up to +24V. Any help would be great. I'm sure I'll have more ?'s to follow.

P.S. A huge thanks to Nerdygrrl for hooking me up with the right harnesses.

+24 is only for the coin counter. I never hook it up. Also, you meant +12V not +15V, right?

I just did the power on a Vs. harness last week. Make sure to double check orientation before plugging in the PCB.

yes that's what I meant sorry been looking at schematics for way to long in a dim area sitting in a tight space..LOL As normal when repairing games. Thanks for the advise on the coin counter, I was wondering what was going on cause there is no +24 stenciled on the switcher.

The other issue now is the audio, i have a red/white wire coming off the audio board on the monitor to meet the red/white coming from the speaker, but were does my two prong connector go into that comes form the harness? Does all that go together?

Other then that I think all I'll have left is to re-wire the CP so all wires are nice and neat to the molex to work right.

Audio goes like this:

PCB ->Harness -> Monitor/Audio Board -> Speaker

The Red and White sounds like the connection from the monitor/Audio Board to the speaker. You need to connection from the harness to the monitor/Audio board which is Brown IIRC. Make sure you hook it up to the correct spot otherwise you may damage the PCB.

yea that's the issue I can see where the red/white coming off the speaker would hook up to the red/white coming off the audio, but my problem is where does the brown/white wires on the two pin connector go? that connector is the one from the PCB/harness.

The whole thing was pretty much gutted and someone converted in into JAMMA and of course added more buttons as well as jacking up the wiring. I might need to take pix

here are sum pix:

Here is the two sets of re/white wires one from speaker and the other from the audio.

Here is the connector for the audio a three pin but with only two wires.

The audio board you can see where the red/white curves around that is cut.

but where does my connector plug into??????I see theirs a three pin on the board left side up but not sure? Its hard to see way back in there.

There should be a corresponding brown wire from the audio board to the speaker wire on the harness. One end will have a white connector that plugs into the audio out .. the white plug on the audio board.

I didnt see one but I'll look again.. Ive looked at the pix again, but will go down and check the game..I'm not even sure if its there, I might have to fix it but i'm not even sure where it goes to...Thanks

Is it on that three pin piece? that on the left on my last pic??

yeah.. the other wire from the audio board plugs into that one

Just to be clear so I dont jack stuff up, are you saying thats were my connector goes, is to that three pin connector? I know I have two wires on my connector as you can see from the pix. Just making sure ya dig....I can not find any info on schematics so far...Thanks again so much for your help.

yeah.. that three pin wire connects to another wire about 2ft long..and then that wire connects to the little white plug on the audio board.

Re-wiring Ninetendo VS harness. UPDATED

Ok well recently I went down a visited Chris at the local nicklemania (great arcade) anyways we pulled out there SMB and of course saw were all wires went so that helped a great deal. I figured out I had a couple of wires wrongly wired to my switcher (thank god i didn't blow anything) so at least now I'm getting a picture (colors off but that's for another time.) So now onto the CP hopefully it looks to be a mess since the person that JAMMA'd this wired the controls all diff.
