Anyone ever play Re-Volt? Any good? Force feedback?

One came up locally for a little more than I want to pay.... considering an offer... but I am not sure.

I played re-volt on the pc. it is an awesome game.

you race an rc car from the cars perspective. watch out for basketballs and other life sized obstacles.

the first track was around a neighborhood, under real cars, on the sidewalk, over the grass etc. there were other tracks in a supermarket, a museum etc. oh yeah, there were also weapons similar to mario kart.

lots of fun on the pc, never saw it as an arcade game.

They had a pair in the local dave and busters about 3 or 4 years ago. I thought it was fun. I really don't remember the force feedback. I think the ONE at D&B was in a custom big screen cabinet. I only played it a few times with my buddy and then it went away.

there were two new ones on chi craigs about a year ago for 900 each they were like 2g each then kept dropping the price.. id assume they some near that price.

Im a sucker for drivers. If its cheap or decent priced, grab it :D

I played the hell out of it on Dreamcast (If I'm remembering systems correctly) but seemed unreasonably difficult in some places. I guess if it was made to be a quarter muncher that'd explain that question. :)

cool game, there's bunches of them here.. it reminds me of one of my favorite NES games, RC Pro AM

I used to play that on the PC about 10 years ago, it was a lot of fun in multi-player. I had no idea there was an arcade version.

The arcade version runs on a Windows 98 based PC. There was one at the bowling alley where I worked about 4 years ago. It was the only driver that there was a single of. Everything else was a pair, Need For Speed Underground, Hydro Thunder, Fast and The Furious and California Speed. Re-Volt was the worst earner. It only got about $25 a week when the best earners were getting $125. It was kind of fun to play but seemed child like compared to the others. Underground and Fast and Furious were the best to play and made the most money.

I also played it on the Dreamcast. It's a fun driving game.
